Leadership in Innovative Flexible Transportation (LIFT) coordinates existing transportation services throughout Southwest Wisconsin. We are a community-based initiative serving the commuting, aging, disabled and low income populations in the region. LIFT facilitates access to available transportation services, minimizes duplication of those services, and seeks cost-effective transport utilizing available resources. LIFT is able to look at transportation needs from a broad perspective and can match all populations with the transportation services that meet their needs. LIFT is collaboration of county governments and regional agencies toward improving and coordinating passenger transportation in Southwest Wisconsin. LIFT seeks to maximize resources and mobilize support for effective rural community transportation. LIFT staff are guided by the Southwest Wisconsin Transit Team, and employed through the Southwestern Wisconsin Community Action Program.

Service:
We offer ride referrals, set up transportation for events, and coordinate Southwest Wisconsin’s transportation resources. Other services include: Car seat installation and checks, Rideshare and Carpool services, CarFit (help to individuals to fit their vehicle to themselves to facilitate safe driving), Training Programs for Volunteer Driver Programs, Travel Training and free transportation information for Southwest Wisconsin.Scope:
